Withdrawal and Refund Policy

Withdrawing From a Course :

  • A student who withdraws from a course must submit a written (fax or e-mail) request to the teacher from his/her parent or guardian.  If a student withdraws before the course begins, the written request must be submitted to the ‘Iolani eSchool coordinator.
  • After the withdrawal is processed the parent/guardian and student receive confirmation from the ecoordinator that the withdrawal is completed.  If a refund is warranted, the Business Office issues a refund within four weeks of the confirmation.

Refund Policy :

For students enrolled in a 2 Semester Advanced Placement Course

  • A student who withdraws prior to the start of the course receives a tuition refund less $150 administrative charge, per course.
  • A student who withdraws by October 15 receives a 75% tuition refund.
  • A student who withdraws after October 15 and before January 1 receives a 25% refund.
  • A student who withdraws after January 1 receives no refund.

For students enrolled in a 6 week Summer School Course

  • A student who withdraws before May 22 receives an 80% refund.  
  • A student who withdraws before June 5 receives a 50% refund.  
  • A student who withdraws before June 12 receives a 20% refund.
  • No refunds are given starting June 12.  

If there is insufficient demand for a specific course, and the course is cancelled, students receive a full refund.
