Washington State junior guard Derrick Low, a 2003 graduate of 'Iolani School, was recently featured in Luke Winn's January 17, 2007 Inside College Basketball column at www.si.com, Sports Illustrated's web page.
Winn writes about Low's role in the resurrection of the cougar program, his Hawaiian roots and culture, his family, and the new Polynesian tattoo he's wearing on his leg.
The Cougars are currently sitting a half game off of the Pac-10 Conference lead, with Low leading the way, averaging more than 14 points per game.
