Low ’04 Grabs Headlines
Washington State junior guard Derrick Low ’04 has received attention from near and far as the up and coming Cougars move up the national rankings. As of this posting, he leads the team with a 15 points per game average and has Washington State at 20 wins for the first time since 1994. See the latest news on Low from various media outlets:

Keilyn Fujioka ’06 is Willamette Athlete of the Month
Keilyn Fujioka, in her first season as a Bearcat, has proven to be a major contributor to the Willamette University women’s basketball team. The 6’1” forward averaged 10.8 points and 9.3 rebounds in December, while shooting 63.8% from the floor (30 of 47) and 55.6% at the line (5 of 9). She was recently named Willamette University’s Athlete of the Month for December 2006. (Courtesy www.willamette.edu)
Young ’03 Shines As Starter
Lana Young has shined in her first season in the starting lineup for the Claremont-Mudd-Scripps Athenas. Starting every game this season, she leads the team in scoring, free throws made and steals and is second on the team in assists. Lana was CMS’s featured athlete for January 27, 2007.
Marciel ’06 Gets Win for Jayhawks in Hilo
In his debut for the Kansas Jayhawks, lefty Wally Marciel ’06 earned the victory, going five innings, allowing just three hits and striking out six in a 7-2 victory of UH-Hilo. (Honolulu Advertiser – February 3, 2007)
