Who says high schoolers are too old for trick-or-treating?
Not so for the 'Iolani Dramatic Players and the school's theatre classes which trick-or-treated for canned goods on behalf of the Institute for Human Services shelter this past October 31.
Through the annual "Trick or Treat so Kids can Eat " program, 'Iolani students gathered 494 pounds of food - more than 150 pounds more than last year! This is a nationwide program sponsored by the International Thespian Society.
In addition to 'Iolani, theater students at Castle and Kapolei high schools also participated with hundreds of other schools from the mainland doing their part. Each school collected food for the local charity of their choice.
