There are 20 teams entered in this year's Ann Kang Invitational.
They are Mira Costa, Radford, San Marcos, Molokai, Newport Harbor, Moanalua, Wilson, Mililani, Punahou, Redondo Union, Word of Life, HBA, Harvard Westlake, Los Alamitos, Sacred Hearts, Kahuku, Pearl City and Corona Del Mar. The Raiders have entered two teams, A and B.
After two days of very exciting play, the leaders in the four pools are Mira Costa, Wilson, Redondo Union and Los Alamitos. Los Alamitos has lost one game, the other three are undefeated. The Raiders A team is sitting in second position in pool A which means they have qualified for the championship rounds.
On Wednesday, the A team played Radford (25-11, 25-10), San Marcos (25-23, 25-19), Molokai (25-15, 25-15) and Mira Costa (18-25, 13-25).
The B team has not won any matches although they have shown some great flashes against the older, bigger teams.
